Tumaini Hand Missions was started by Mr. Sammy Mwanja in the year 2012 as a nonprofit organization seeking to help the most vulnerable people in our society. The organization was registered as an NGO on September 15, 2017.
“After going through a lot of struggles and lacking the things I needed in life to strive and succeed, my vision was prompted to stand up as a God raised vessel and help the most deserving, vulnerable children. To cultivate this passionate dream, I visited numerous orphanages in the Kenya and Uganda regions. I witnessed the heart-breaking conditions that the children had to live in and I heard the voice of the Lord speaking to me, telling me to fill in the gap and start helping the needy children as an action to exercise and share the love of God to everyone God has created. This organization believes that “everyone has a place in Gods heart””. – Sammy Mwanja
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
